L’Italiana Aromi SRL, which specializes in the production of flavours, natural flavours, extracts and distillates for the food & beverage, pharmaceutical and neutraceutical industries, announces that, under the board resolution dated 22/10/2020, they implemented their own Organization, Management and Control Model pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/01 (so-called Model 231), with a view to strengthening all the corporate control and governance instruments. Under the same resolution, they appointed the Oversight Body, which has been entrusted with the task of overseeing the operation of, and compliance with, Model 231 and the Code of Ethics thus implemented.

L’Italiana Aromi relies on its own Model 231 to stress that any and all unlawful acts are absolutely condemned by the Company.

“Obviously enough, our Company has always implemented several control procedures – said Laura Tirelli, Managing Director of L’Italiana Aromi -; implementing Model 231 allows us to cover such predicate offences under Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 as may severely affect our integrity and image.”

The Model is aimed at sensitizing – for example – suppliers, customers and anybody acting in the name and on behalf of the Company to the importance of transparent, proper management and full compliance with current regulations and ethical values in conducting business.

The rules of the Model supplement those of the adopted Code of Ethics, which contains the ethical and deontological principles that are acknowledged by L’Italiana Aromi as its own in the performance of its lines of business and are the standard of behaviour that must inspire the employees and anybody who works with the Company in different capacities.

Adopting Model 231 and the Code of Ethics allows L’Italiana Aromi to strengthen its in-house control system, in order to determine the values and principles that are key to achieving its goals.
